BNI offers Galunggung Train ticket promo

With a BNI debit card and credit card, Galunggung train passengers can get a discount of IDR 20,000

Yogyakarta (ANTARA News) – PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is offering promotions via debit cards, credit cards and TapCash cards in the form of discounts on Galunggung Train tickets, which serve the Kiara Condong Station route, Bandung-Tasikmalaya.

BNI Corporate Secretary Kiryanto in a written statement received in Yogyakarta, Wednesday, said that with a debit card and credit card, Galunggung train passengers can get a discount of IDR 20,000 for a minimum transaction of IDR 100,000 on the train.

The maximum discount given is IDR 40,000

“In order to further promote non-cash transactions, passengers who purchase food on trains using TapCash will get free sweet tea. TapCash holders can also buy Parahyangan fried rice at a special price of only IDR 1,946. TapCash cards can be purchased and refilled at booth available at Kiara Condong Station, Bandung; Tasikmalaya Station; and on the Galunggung Train,” said Kiryanto.


TapCash cards are sold at special prices at booth namely IDR 60,000 (fill in a balance of IDR 50,000) and IDR 110,000 (fill in a balance of IDR 100,000).

Not only cashless, transactions with TapCash do not require change, so it is practical and suitable for use when traveling.

The number of TapCash cards currently in circulation is 4.5 million cards.

As of November 2018, TapCash transaction volume reached IDR 350 billion or grew 240 percent annually (year on year/yoy) with a total of 32 million transactions or grew 210 percent yoy.

The TapCash card can be used at 40,000 merchants.
